In a decisive policy address to youth leaders, artisans, and student union executives in Ijebu-Ode, Hon. Rasak Oluwakemi Daddah unveiled the framework for the 2027 Ijebu Central Youth Enterprise and Technology Endowment.
The initiative targets 1,500 young men and women across the 36 wards of Ijebu-Ode, Odogbolu, and Ijebu North-East in its first operational year. Drawing directly from his past delivery, where he sponsored over 30 indigenes for certified National Directorate of Employment (NDE) solar-light installation training, the program will establish solar assembly workshops, renewable electrical training, and digital skills incubation centers.
"Our young people should not have to leave Ijebu Central to find dignity, skill, or enterprise," Hon. Daddah stated. "We have brilliant minds, energetic artisans, and ambitious students. By pairing verified technical training with certified toolkits and direct micro-credit, we transform potential into sustainable wealth."
The program also introduces a dedicated constituency liaison desk to track federal civil service, paramilitary, and multinational corporate recruitment, guaranteeing fair representation for qualified Ijebu Central indigenes.
