During his tenure as Executive Chairman of Ijebu-Ode Local Government, he demonstrated rare fiscal discipline. Inheriting over ₦40 Million in council debt, he refused to take commercial loans or give excuses. He liquidated the entire inherited liability, and concurrently constructed 3 primary healthcare centres, recruited 40 health personnel, and built municipal road infrastructure, winning the prestigious 2014 NLC Most Labour-Friendly Chairman award.
Now standing as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Federal House of Representatives, his ambition in Abuja is clear: to champion the historic constitutional quest for the creation of Ijebu State in active partnership with our revered royal fathers, attract federal capital projects, and give Ijebu Central the dedicated, accessible representation it truly deserves.
